Chapter Seven

Remembrance

Those of the family who died in the Holocaust, those who survived it, and the cases still open

Each name is given with the relationship, and the date and place as the records state them. The lists follow the grades on the family tree: only a person whose record is Proven is listed as a confirmed victim; anyone graded Probable or Possible stays under “Unresolved” until a record settles it. Survivors are listed where the records say so. Nothing here is a guess.

Confirmed victims 23

Survivors 1

Unresolved 17

Probable or Possible identifications — kept apart until the records confirm them.
